Because all our efforts are concentrated on developing real estate for commercial uses, we are experts at controlling costs, schedules and project management. We are also experienced and skilled with helping companies make use of real estate tax abatement programs and state and municipal assisted financing programs as well.

Keebler Company hired Simborg Development, Inc., after a national selection process, as the developer to renovate the existing Keebler baking and distribution facility located in Chicago, Illinois. The project required renovating the existing facility and a nearby 70,000 square foot building, and linking the two buildings together over a 1.5-acre vacant parcel with an additional 154,000 square feet of new, state-of-the-art manufacturing space. The size of the total facility is approximately 267,000 square feet. SDI completed the job on-time and on-budget. SDI also was responsible for coordinating all of the activities related to obtaining governmental benefits for the project.
13601 South Western Avenue, Blue Island, Illinois, is an 185,000 square foot industrial building that SDI acquired, renovated and sold to a user.
13600 South Western Avenue, Blue Island, Illinois, is a 530,000 sq. ft. multi-tenant industrial building which we are in the process of renovating and re-letting.
2218 West 138th Avenue, Blue Island, Illinois, is a 240,000 sq. ft. multi-tenant industrial building in Blue Island, Illinois which we renovated and partially re-let. We recently sold the building to the principals of RNA Corporation, the primary tenant.
Halsted Industrial Center - Simborg Development, Inc. acquired and renovated this 250,000 sq. ft. industrial complex located at 155th Street and Halsted Street in Harvey, IL.
Blue Island Industrial Center - 225,000 sq. ft. multi-tenant industrial manufacturing and distribution facility. This facility required extensive rehab and construction. It is currently fully occupied.
55,000 Sq. Ft. Food Processing and Bakery Facility in South Holland, IL for Glenmark Industries/OSI. This project included R & D, bakery and flash freezer facilities. The facility is currently owned by Zoll Foods.
A 38,000 sq. ft. distribution facility for Select Beverage in Harvey, Illinois.
A 334,200 sq. ft. multi-tenant industrial building in LaPorte, Indiana, which we have renovated and re-let.
A 235,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution facility which we renovated and re-let to a long-time tenant of ours, in San Bernardino, California.
