Simborg Development, Incorporated was chosen, after a competitive selection process, as the developer to renovate the existing Keebler Baking & Distribution Facility located in Chicago, Illinois. The project required renovating the existing facility and a nearby 70,000 square foot building, and linking the two buildings together over a 1.5-acre vacant parcel with an additional 154,000 square feet of new, state-of-the-art manufacturing space. The size of the total facility is approximately 267,000 square feet. Simborg Development, Incorporated completed the job on-time and on-budget. Simborg Development, Incorporated also was responsible for coordinating all of the activities related to obtaining governmental benefits for the project.
